Super calendered glassine paper is a high-density, translucent paper produced by passing refined pulp through a series of heated, polished steel rollers under extreme pressure - a process known as super calendering. This compresses the fibers into a uniform, closed structure that is naturally greaseproof, moisture-resistant, and exceptionally smooth on both sides without the need for chemical coatings.
Available in brown, white, yellow, and blue in rolls up to 1,090 mm wide and 10,000 m long, our super calendered glassine paper combines the mechanical strength, surface quality, and dimensional stability required for demanding applications in label converting, adhesive tape production, food packaging, medical packaging, and industrial interleaving. For release liner applications, silicone coating can be applied to one or both sides with release force tuned to your requirements.
