What are the general quality problems with release films?
 

1. Scratches on the release film surface

The quality problem of scratches on the release film surface is that the flat surface of the film material is scratched, forming a fine groove line, and a bright line can be observed through reflection. Membrane surface scratches can be divided into large-area scratches and intermittent scratches.


There are three reasons for large-scale scratches:

  • It may be that the guide roller does not rotate.

  • If the tension is too small, the speed will be slower.

  • Unknown objects directly contact the membrane surface (such as: the corrector falls, etc.)

There are two reasons for intermittent scratches:

  • The oven belt is aged and damaged.

  • There is foreign matter on the guide roller.

2. The surface of the release film is dirty

 

There are rubber particles, foreign matter, etc. on the surface of the membrane material, and it is characterized by being erasable. The quality problems caused by the dirt on the release film can be checked and analyzed from the following aspects: the guide roller or pressure roller is dirty and not cleaned; the filtration in the oven is not clean; 5S in the workshop is not done well.

 

3. The Release Film Is Not Rolled Up Neatly

 

The uneven winding of the release film is characterized by uneven end surface after winding, and generally the end surface protrudes ≤5mm. The quality problems of uneven rewinding of release films generally have the following reasons: correction failure; insufficient or no air in the tube; defective paper tube (deviation or embossing during rewinding); unbalanced final axis or unstable pressure of the final axis ; The guide roller is not level; the winding tension is too small, etc.

 

 

4. White Fog Nn The Surface Of The Release Film

 

The surface of the release film partially shows white cloud-like stains. The quality problems of white fog on the release film surface are generally caused by the following reasons: the main agent or solvent is contaminated; the humidity of the coating head is too high; the hot air is discharged to generate water vapor after the product comes out of the oven.
