As the substrate coated by single-sided or double-sided poly FEP emulsion, electrical polyimide film is made as adhesive tape, which is wrapped around the bare copper wire. Owing to its excellent heat resistance, thin and uniform insulation layer thickness, high sealing, it improves the moisture resistance, electrical properties, cut through resistance; owing to its good flexibility it keeps the insulating layer intact without no cracking when bending the wire and is suitable for H grade, F grade motor windings; owing to the interturn insulation thickness is reduced about 1/3 than enameled doubled-silk covered wire, it is strengthening its good thermal conductivity, reducing the motor size and improving motor reliability. Instead of glass cloth polyimide film as slot insulation can increase metallic channel as high as the full rate of 8%, in the same base conditions, improving motor power as high as 20%, widely used in spacecraft, high-voltage motors, traction motors, submersible deep well motor pump motor and metallurgical aspects.
