Products Description
PFA rod is a solid round rod made from perfluoroalkoxy (PFA). It belongs to the fluoroplastic family and combines the excellent chemical stability of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) with the machinability of FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene). It is commonly used in applications requiring high corrosion resistance, high purity, and high-temperature operation.
Diameter Range: Commonly 5mm – 300mm, larger sizes available on request.
Length: Standard 1m and 2m, cut to order.
Density: Approximately 2.12 – 2.17 g/cm³.
Operating Temperature: -200°C to +260°C (continuous use).
Tensile Strength: ≥ 25 MPa.
Dielectric Constant: 2.1 (stable, virtually unchanged with temperature and frequency).
Color: Commonly translucent or milky white, other colors available on request.
Surface Resistivity: ≥ 10^17 Ω·cm (excellent insulation).
