Product Introduction
Non-silicone release paper is a specialty release liner that achieves clean, controlled adhesive release without using silicone-based coatings. Instead, it employs an alternative coating system - such as wax-based, polyethylene (PE), UV-cured acrylic, or water-based polymer - to deliver reliable release performance while addressing applications where silicone is not desired or permitted.
Our non-silicone release paper is engineered for industries where silicone contamination is a concern, including automotive paint masking, composite manufacturing, certain medical applications, and silicone-sensitive adhesive systems. It offers a cost-effective, environmentally conscious alternative to traditional silicone-coated liners, with comparable release consistency and clean peel performance.
Features and advantages：
1. Silicone-Free - No Contamination Risk Ideal for paint shops, composite layup, automotive masking, and silicone-sensitive adhesive systems where even trace silicone can cause surface defects, fisheyes, or bonding failures. Eliminates the risk of silicone transfer to the finished product.
2. Environmentally Friendly Depending on the coating system selected, non-silicone release paper can offer improved recyclability, biodegradability, or reduced environmental impact compared to solvent-based silicone coatings. We help you choose the right eco-grade for your application.
3. Clean, Low-Residue Release Coating formulations are optimized to minimize adhesive residue and ghosting after peel. Consistent release force across the roll ensures reliable performance on high-speed converting and labeling lines.
4. Cost-Effective for High-Volume Use Non-silicone coating systems can offer a lower cost per square meter than premium silicone coatings, making them an economical choice for disposable or single-use release liner applications.
5. Full Customization Custom base paper, basis weight, release force, coating type, roll width, and sheet size - all manufactured to your exact specification.
Coating System Options
| Coating Type | Best For | Key Characteristics |
|---|---|---|
| Wax-Based | General-purpose, disposable liners | Low cost, moderate release, not for high-heat |
| PE-Coated | Moisture barrier, food packaging | Water-resistant, heat-sealable, medium release |
| UV-Cured Acrylic | Precision release, label converting | Consistent release force, temperature-stable |
| Water-Based Polymer | Eco-conscious applications | Low VOC, recyclable, biodegradable options |
