Release coatings can be thought of as the PSA delivery system, providing a controlled unwind or release force and protecting the adhesive from contamination and unintentional contact until it is applied. PE laminated silicone release paper imparts certain qualities to the paper including weight release, surface gloss, smoothness and reduced absorbency. The coated paper can then be used in food packaging, release paper and in magazines.
