Product Introduction

Black flame retardant tape is an industrial tape made of flame retardant substrate (such as PVC, glass fiber cloth or polyester film) as the backing material and coated with flame retardant pressure-sensitive adhesive. Its core characteristics are self-extinguishing in case of fire, low smoke and non-toxicity. It is specially used in electronic, electrical, automotive, construction and other scenes that require fire safety. It also has insulation, heat resistance and weather resistance.

Extreme Flame Retardancy	Phosphorus - nitrogen - based flame retardants are added. When exposed to fire, a carbonized layer is formed to cut off oxygen.	The product passes the UL 94 V - 0 test (3mm thickness, combustion time ≤ 5 seconds).
High - temperature Resistance	The backing material and adhesive can withstand temperatures from - 40°C to 130°C, and can endure short - term temperatures up to 160°C.	After aging at 130°C for 168 hours, the peel strength retention rate is ≥ 85% (IEC 60454 - 3).
Low - smoke and Non - toxic	The density of combustion smoke ≤ 50 (ASTM E662), and it is halogen - free (halogen content < 900ppm).	We provide SGS certification (compliant with RoHS/REACH).
Aging Resistance	With UV stabilizers and antioxidants, the outdoor service life is ≥ 5 years.	After 3000 hours of QUV accelerated aging test, the viscosity decrease rate is < 10%.
Electrical Insulation	Volume resistivity ≥ 1×10¹²Ω·cm, withstand voltage ≥ 3kV/mm.	The product passes the dielectric strength test (IEC 60243 - 1).
Strong Environmental Adaptability	Resistant to oil, acid, alkali, and moisture, and can adapt to temperature differences from - 40°C to 130°C.	The product passes the 48 - hour immersion test in 5% HCl and motor oil (no delamination, no adhesive migration).
Easy to Tear and Apply	The tensile strength of the base material ≥ 80N/cm, and the backing material can be easily torn by hand, resulting in high construction efficiency.	Tensile elongation test (ISO 527 - 3): longitudinal ≥ 150%, transverse ≥ 100%.
