Glassine Paper Michaels
Glassine paper is a supercalendered, high-density paper made from 100% virgin wood pulp. It is grease-resistant, translucent and printable, and it contains no plastic film or coating. We supply it as flat sheets for craft, stationery and archival use, in basis weights from 30 to 140 gsm, cut to your size. Our acid-free grade is produced with a neutral pH and no optical brightening agents, so it will not yellow or transfer acid to stored paper, textiles or photographs. It is the grade to specify for envelope liners, scrapbook inserts, stamp and photo interleaving, and conservation packaging.

FAQ
Is your glassine paper acid-free?
- We supply both. Standard food-grade glassine is not buffered; specify our archival grade if the paper will contact photographs, textiles or documents long term.
Can I order retail-size packs?
- We are a factory, not a retailer. Our minimum is 2 metric tons per size and grade, but we can produce OEM retail packs under your own brand and barcode.
What sheet sizes can you cut?
- Any size within 1080 mm width. A4, A3, 12×12 in and archival box sizes are standard; custom cuts take 3-5 days longer.
Single-side or double-side silicone?
- Choose single-side when one face must stay printable or writable; choose double-side when both faces must release, such as for stacked label sheets.
How fast can I get a sample?
- Free samples dispatch within 2 working days; please tell us the gsm, sheet size and coating you need.
