The classification of coated paper can be classified by plastic release paper and non-plastic release paper; silicone release paper and non-silicon release paper can also be classified by release agent.
With plastic coated paper, because the release agent has a certain permeability, if there is no certain barrier, the release agent will penetrate into the inside of the paper, resulting in poor curing and excessive use of the release agent (high cost) and many other defects factor. Therefore, it is necessary to do plastic coating on the paper (commonly known as lamination). In China, polyethylene (PE) particles are generally used for lamination, and the melt index is required to be around 7. The domestic PE particles generally use 1C 7A of Yanshan Petrochemical. It is divided into single-plastic release paper and double-plastic release paper; non-plastic release paper mainly includes glassine, CCK and other specially treated release paper.
In addition, there are some release papers that are widely used in many industries, and some do not use release agents. For example, label printing factories often apply a layer of varnish to the place where release is required, and it will also have a certain release ability. Of course, the performance of the glue is weak. Otherwise, this release ability is futile. In addition, some release papers produced with some special glues and other formulations account for a small share of the overall market.
The genuine paper used in the electronics industry (release paper with stable quality and guaranteed supply) is less used in the electronics industry, mainly garbled paper (used once abroad, or release paper with quality defects). The glue factory basically uses genuine paper.
(1): By Color:
A, single silicon white release paper, refers to one side is plain paper and the other side is silicone oil. It is more commonly used.
B,,Single silicon yellow (blue) release paper, refers to the release paper with yellow (blue) on both sides.
(2): By gram weight: ranging from 35 grams to 250 grams (can be higher).
(3): According to the presence or absence of silicone oil, it can be divided into silicone oil paper and coated paper.
Remarks: The coated paper is only the bottom paper and the coated film. If it is a silicone oil paper, it means that there are three kinds of paper.
(4), according to single and double sides.
A, double-silicon single-seal, which means that one side is silicone oil, and the other side is only coated, which will improve the cleanliness.
B, double silicon, refers to both sides are silicone oil.
C, single silicon.
D, coated paper, also known as white plastic paper.
(5): According to the production place of product materials.
