Disposable coated paper is easy to use, but you must pay attention to environmental protection
Coated paper for disposable paper cups has been invented and used for a long time. For those who are not familiar with it, they don't know the little secrets. The editor will take you into the coated paper below.
According to the characteristics of different foods and customer needs, different types of coatings are now available on the market, such as PE film, PLA film, and PP film. In addition to hot and cold drinks, disposable paper cups and bowls also contain different foods such as soup, ice cream, instant noodles, etc.
In the past, 16oz Coca-Cola single-layer cold drink cups were mainly coated with PE on the inside and wax on the outside to isolate water vapor. Now this type of cup has basically been eliminated and replaced by double-sided PE-coated cups. cup. In addition to PE coating, which is a common coating, some customers have higher requirements for environmental protection and require food packaging to be completely degradable. Therefore, these paper cups are usually coated with PLA coating (polylactic acid, biodegradable material). This coating is a completely degradable material. After use, the paper and coating can be completely degraded naturally.
In addition, other food packaging emphasizes the function of microwave instant meals, so this requires paper containers such as paper bowls to be coated with PP to achieve the purpose of long-term microwave heating of food. The latter two are the new trends and directions in the development of paper cup manufacturing in recent years. Especially the application of PLA coating makes paper container packaging truly degradable and environmentally friendly.
These are the commonly used laminated papers on the market. When using laminated paper, we should not only pay attention to the convenience brought by laminated paper, but also prevent it from polluting the environment.
