Hard muscovite flakes
We have different types of hard mica flakes namely muscovite flakes, phlogopite flakes and synthetic mica flakes.

The mechanical strength of specially designed and hot-pressed hard mica sheets is very high, reaching 150N/mm2.

Mica flakes can withstand very high temperatures, 500-700 degrees Celsius for muscovite and 700-900 degrees Celsius for phlogopite.

Also high voltage: 17KV/mm.

So industrial engineers will use rigid mica sheets as high-quality insulation materials.

The mica sheets are then punched and processed into various patterns, as shown in the picture below:

The required thickness is 0.2-3mm. If it exceeds 3mm, the mica board needs to be processed by CNC, drilling and sawing...

The heating wire can be wrapped around the gear, passed through the hole, and fixed on the gap. This allows the mica to maintain a good shape on the heating element.

According to the special needs of customers, there are also higher temperature mica flakes, such as synthetic mica flakes and calcined mica flakes.

The process steps are as follows:

It is made by bonding high-quality muscovite mica paper, phlogopite mica paper or synthetic mica paper with high-temperature silicone resin.
Mica paper is heated and pressed into mica sheets.
Mica sheet cutting size: 1000*600mm, 1000*1200mm, 1000*2400mm
Every 50 kilograms of mica flakes are packed with PE film, packed in cartons, and then fixed with wooden pallets per 1 ton of mica flakes.
