The factors affecting the quality of PET release film are briefly described
May 23, 2023
Substrate: PET release film is a silicone release agent coated on the surface of PET film. The quality of the substrate directly affects its performance. Domestic PET film substrates lag behind foreign countries in terms of thickness control and heat shrinkage.
Residual glue rate: The residual glue rate refers to the force of the release paper after the first peeling and the second peeling. The calculated data mainly reflect the curing effect of silicone oil.
Peeling force: The size of the peeling force directly affects the performance of the PET release film, and the general industry standard peeling force tolerance range is ±15%.
Processing environment: With the continuous progress of various products, the improvement of quality and technology, the requirements for the cleanliness of PET release film are becoming more and more stringent, especially in the electronic die-cutting industry.
Of course, there are many factors that affect the quality of PET release film in actual production. Different industries, different companies, and different processes have different requirements for the use of various films.
