Release paper, also known as silicone oil paper. Composed of three-layer structure, the first layer: Bottom paper; the second layer: coating; the third layer: Silicone oil. It can be used in electronic products, car foam, printing, food, medical and so on. In most cases, it is used with viscous materials, especially adhesive tape.
In the wet production of prepreg, release paper is placed above and below the prepreg. The lower release paper is stored in the prepreg as the prepreg is wound. Therefore, the surface of the prepreg is usually protected by a layer of release paper. The function of the release paper is to prevent the prepreg from being contaminated and to provide convenience for marking the surface. Another function of the release paper is to prevent the lateral cracking of the unidirectional prepreg.
The release paper should meet the following requirements: it can stick to the prepreg, but is easy to separate the two; does not chemically react with the resin system or pollute the resin system; when the ambient temperature and humidity changes, the length and width of the release paper should be Keep it unchanged, so as not to cause the release paper to wrinkle and cause the prepreg to crease; it should have enough compactness to prevent moisture from entering the prepreg through it; the elongation of the release paper should be the same as that of the fiber after being pulled. Keep it consistent to prevent the prepreg from being deformed or distorted due to unsynchronized drafting during the preparation process; its thickness and mass per unit area are not easy to accurately control.
