The dry silicon coating amount refers to the amount of release agent coated on the material, and the unit is grams per square meter. Generally, the coating amount of solvent-based silicone oil ranges from 0.30 to 0.80 grams per square meter, and the coating amount of solvent-free silicone oil ranges from 0.80 to 1.30 grams per square meter. Professional testing equipment is required to test the coating amount. The amount of silicone oil coating directly affects the peeling performance. The higher coating amount can cover the base paper densely and ensure the uniform distribution of silicone oil. The lower the amount of silicone oil coating is prone to leakage, resulting in poor peeling. Some release coating suppliers reduce the amount of silicone oil coating, resulting in heavy peeling and producing heavy release paper, which is quite risky during use. A reliable manufacturer realizes the adjustment of the peel force through the adjustment of the chemical formula without reducing the amount of silicone oil applied. It takes a long time to accumulate technology, rather than one overnight.
Peel force at room temperature, the peel force data obtained by standard test methods at room temperature, the unit is N/25mm, how many grams can be converted into. The residual adhesion rate of UV curable silicone oil is generally 100%, and the maximum residual adhesion rate of thermal curing silicone oil is 90%. If a few suppliers claim that the residual adhesion rate of their release paper is 100%, it is suspicious. If desiliconization occurs, the residual adhesion rate of this release paper is generally not higher than 70%. The testing of release paper technical indicators is a very complicated project. General electronics factories and tape factories can only test the last few data. As for the amount of silicone oil coating, it generally does not appear in the technical report of the release coating supplier.
