Polyester film is silicone coated on single side or both sides, widely used as a transparent membrane on your vacuum hot table. It have many applications include: the treatment of paintings containing soft paint or varnish in their medium, vacuum treatment of delicate surfaces, vapor treatment and lining, consolidation of loose paint with strong, thermoplastic adhesives, or protecting slightly sticky surfaces during transportation. Silicone coated polyester film rolls allows it to be joined by using masking tape on the uncoated side. Furthermore, silicone coated polyester film can be sealed to the vacuum table with masking tape, all around the painting, when required. At last, small tears in this kind of film can be closed with masking tape without interrupting the lining process.
