Metalized PET is an oriented polyester film with a very thin coating of aluminum that is vacuum deposited on to the surface of the film. This film is used in a variety of industrial and decorative applications, including printing, packaging, POP and display, crafts and many other applications.

Type of metallized film

1. Building insulation materila composite: metalized polyester film laminate with insulation material like bubble, woven foam, non-woven used for building insulation and cold chain which can increase thermal insulation performance.

2. Packaging material: metalized polyester filim laminate with other plastic film like OPP, PE/used for packaging that can prevent moisture and oxygen.

3. Electronic packaging: used for packaging electronic devices to block static electricity.

4. Ballon decoration: can be used for ballon

5. Flexadux material: used for air duct has heat insulation effect.

6. Agricultural use of membrane: used for agriculture can increase reflectivity and promote plants growth.

High optical density: standard OD from 1.8 to 2.2, highest 3.5 OD at one side for special application OD tolerance +/-10%

Better aluminum layer uniformity: as high as +/-5%

Low metallizing layer: can reach to 80A minimum

Chemical treatment: high water barrier performace used for lidding, yogurt, flavoured drink and ketchup snacks.

Packing:

1. Bulk packing: Packed in thick plastic bag

2. Pallet packing: Big roll wrapped with bubble or woven foil, fastened on the pallet with tapes, outside wrapped with foil bubble and plastic film

3. Wooden packing: Small roll wrapped with plastic bag or woven foil, perfectly fit into the cabinet and sealed in the cabinet
