Product Introduction
Products Description
8–15 Reuse Cycles - Lower Cost Per Meter
Our silicone-coated embossing paper is rated for 8–15 production runs on standard PVC leather lines. The silicone coating maintains release integrity and pattern definition through repeated heat cycles - you get more finished meters per roll of paper, directly reducing your consumable cost per unit.
Consistent Texture Transfer - Run After Run
The embossed pattern is precision-engraved into the silicone coating layer. Pattern depth, gloss level, and surface uniformity are controlled within tight tolerances. What you see on the paper is what you get on the leather - no surprises, no B-grade batches, no customer rejections.
Thermal Stability to 220°C - No Pattern Drift
The base paper and silicone coating are engineered as a system for thermal compatibility. Through repeated 190–220°C curing cycles, the paper maintains dimensional stability - no buckling, no pattern distortion, no coating delamination.
Three Gloss Grades - One Supplier
Our release paper is available in three standard gloss levels to match different leather finish requirements:
Leather release liner PVC Product advantages
The Cost of Cheap Release Paper Is Higher Than You Think
Every PVC leather manufacturer knows the trade-off. Buy cheaper release paper, deal with more problems. But the real cost isn't the paper - it's what happens when it fails.
"The pattern faded after 5 runs. I had to replace the entire roll." Your release paper is rated for 8–15 runs. If it degrades after 5, you're losing 40–60% of its usable life. That's not a cheaper paper - it's a more expensive one, amortized over fewer meters of finished leather.
"One bad patch on the paper ruined 200 meters of leather." In PVC leather production, a single defect on the release paper - a scratch, a coating skip, a heat blister - transfers directly to the PVC surface. Every meter of leather that passes over that defect is scrap. At 15 meters per minute, one undetected flaw costs you a full shift's output in minutes.
"The texture didn't transfer evenly. Half the batch has to be sold as B-grade." Inconsistent surface quality on the release paper means inconsistent texture on the leather. Your customer opens the shipment and sees two different products - one side glossy, the other matte. They reject the entire order. You eat the freight both ways and lose the account.
"The paper buckled under heat and the pattern shifted." PVC curing runs at 190–220°C. If the release paper base stock isn't engineered for thermal stability, it deforms under heat. The embossed pattern distorts. Your leather comes out with a wavy, uneven grain that no customer will accept.
"My competitor launched a new leather texture while I was still waiting for samples." Market trends in footwear, automotive interiors, and furniture move fast. If your release paper supplier takes 6 weeks to develop a new embossing pattern, you're always behind. Your customers go to whoever has the latest texture first.
Leather release liner PVC Application areas
Applications
Synthetic Leather for Footwear
Shoe uppers, insoles, linings, and trim. The matte (818) and semi-gloss (828) grades are standard for athletic, casual, and formal footwear manufacturing. Consistent texture transfer ensures every shoe in a production run matches.
Automotive Interior Materials
Seat covers, door panels, dashboard skins, and steering wheel wraps. Automotive-grade synthetic leather demands uniform, understated grain patterns and zero surface defects. Our matte 818 grade is the most commonly specified for interior applications.
Luggage, Bags & Accessories
Handbags, backpacks, luggage shells, wallets, and belts. Semi-gloss (828) and gloss (838) grades deliver the premium appearance required for fashion accessories. Fast pattern development supports seasonal collection changes.
Furniture & Upholstery
Sofa covers, chair upholstery, office furniture, and contract seating. High durability requirements matched by the 8–15 cycle paper life. Wide format (up to 2300 mm) accommodates large furniture-panel production.
Clothing & Apparel Trim
Garment labels, patches, appliques, and decorative trim pieces. The release paper's fine pattern resolution captures intricate textures suitable for fashion applications.

How It Works: The PVC Leather Production Process
For buyers new to embossed release paper, here's how it integrates into your production line:
PVC paste preparation - PVC resin, plasticizers, and additives are mixed into a fluid paste
Coating onto release paper - The paste is applied to the embossed silicone surface of the release paper
Curing - The coated paper passes through an oven at 190–220°C, curing the PVC into a solid film
Lamination - Adhesive is applied to a fabric backing (base cloth), which is then laminated to the PVC layer
Separation - The release paper is peeled away, transferring its embossed texture to the PVC surface
Paper reuse - The release paper is rewound and returned to the coating line for the next cycle (up to 8–15 times)
