Fabric-Over-Foam (FOF) Conductive Foam is a high-performance EMI shielding gasket consisting of a polyurethane foam core wrapped with metallized conductive fabric. Offering shielding effectiveness up to 80 dB across 30 MHz–18 GHz, it provides excellent conductivity, flexibility, durability, and environmental resistance. Available in custom densities, shapes, colors, and flame-retardant grades, it is widely used in electronics, telecommunications, automotive, medical, aerospace, and industrial applications.

Products Description
Fabric Over Foam (FOF) Conductive Foam is a conductive shielding gasket material designed for EMI shielding applications. The inner core is typically made of PU foam (polyurethane foam) or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) materials, while the outer layer is wrapped with various metallized conductive fabrics. The product is usually installed using pressure-sensitive conductive double-sided adhesive tape.
Within the frequency range of 30 MHz to 18 GHz, the shielding effectiveness can reach 80 dB (MIL-G-83528), with a surface resistance of ≤ 0.05 Ω/sq.
Thanks to our advanced and unique plating technology, the conductive fabric features excellent oxidation resistance and anti-fingerprint properties. The metallized outer fabric is available in gold, black, and silver-gray finishes.
According to customer requirements, we can also manufacture Fabric-Over-Foam products with UL94 V-0 / V-1 flame-retardant ratings (Yellow Card No. E511001) and other special performance characteristics.
