Difference between mica board and epoxy board:
1. Difference: The base material of epoxy board: epoxy glue, glass fiber cloth, curing agent.
The base material of mica board: mica paper, organic silica gel.
The production process can be said to be the same, and they are all pressed at high temperature.
2. Difference: Mica board temperature resistance: 400-1000 degrees Celsius.
Epoxy board temperature resistance: 130-200 degrees Celsius.
3. Difference: Mica board is an insulating material widely used in high temperature furnaces.
Epoxy boards are mainly used in environments with relatively low operating temperatures.
4. Difference: Mica board is a relatively environmentally friendly insulating material.
The epoxy board is still somewhat polluted.
5. Difference: The density of the finished mica board is 2.2-2.35g/cm3, and the density of the epoxy board is 1.9-2.2g/cm3
