1. The performance and application of mica board
The mica board includes soft mica board, plastic mica board, commutator mica board and liner mica board, etc. It mainly uses adhesive to bond thin mica or powder mica paper, and is a board-shaped insulating material made by baking.
The soft mica board has softness in normal state and can be bent without breaking. Mica board is a hard plate-like material at room temperature, which becomes soft when heated, and can be molded into insulating members of different shapes by continuous heating and pressure. The commutator mica plate is mainly used as an insulating gasket between the commutating copper sheets in the DC motor, which requires uniform thickness, high tightness, low lamination rate, and low shrinkage under high temperature and high pressure.
The mica plate of the commutator is generally made of phlogopite, whose hardness is smaller than that of muscovite, and its wear is comparable to that of copper. The liner mica board has high mechanical strength, can withstand cutting, impact and other mechanical processing without layering and splitting, and is suitable for insulating gaskets, gaskets, and valve arrester parts for motors and electrical appliances.
2. The production process of mica board
The production process of mica board generally includes several steps such as production preparation (regulating the solid content of the glue), pasting, drying, limiting, repairing, inspection and packaging. Soft mica board needs to strictly control its baking temperature to maintain its softness, and various soft mica boards should not be stacked too thick, and should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated place.
The drying time of the mica board should not be too long. In order to ensure its plasticity, hot pressing is generally adopted. The key point of the production process of the commutator mica board is the limitation. In order to make the mica board have high tightness and good integrity and avoid the occurrence of glue flow and slippage, the commutator mica board needs to be limited in two times. The mica plate after the first restriction must be machined before the second restriction.
The production process of the liner mica board is basically the same as that of the commutator mica board, but because it is generally a thick specification product, it requires a long time limit and high preheating and hot pressing temperatures.
