Insulation Rigid Mica Sheets
Insulation rigid mica sheets have good electrical insulation performance and high mechanical strength. It is suitable for the insulation of electrode rods or wire bushing in devices such as electric appliances, motors and electric metallurgy furnaces.
Insulation rigid mica sheets are composed of Muscovite or Phlogopite mica paper and small amount of heat resistant silicon binder and has good properties of electrical and thermal insulation and retain its properties even after being exposed to heat.
Insulation rigid mica sheet have low thermal conductivity and good mechanical properties. These are vital for its use in supporting wire windings and heating spirals. Sheet mica also has excellent dielectric properties and fire resistance. It also has low smoke emissions.Rigid sheet mica can be stamped, cut and punched into a huge variety of shapes and designs, from off-the-shelf solutions to specific, bespoke specifications.
