What "Cut to Size" Means Here

Most PVDF sheet is sold in fixed board sizes and the buyer cuts it themselves - or pays a machine shop to. We do the cutting, so you receive material that is already the size you need.

Why this matters commercially: a full board that does not match your part size becomes offcut. Buying cut pieces removes that waste, removes the freight weight of material you will not use, and removes the risk of your own shop cutting it out of square.

The resin is 100% virgin Solef® PVDF - no regrind, no reprocessed content, no filler

Every batch is linked to the resin lot it was moulded from

You can request the resin certificate of analysis (COA), the finished-sheet report, and the density verification for your batch

Material is supplied with the grade identified - we will name the exact Solef® grade on the packing list

What that gives you: if your customer, auditor or qualification engineer asks "what exactly is in this sheet and where did it come from", you have a documented answer.

Packing: export wooden box or pallet, fumigated where required for European destinations. Sheet is packed flat and restrained so it cannot bow or telescope during sea freight. 

 

How to Send Us a Cut List

Send a cut list and we will quote by return. Any of these formats works:

Before you send it, check three things: (1) thickness you actually need, (2) the tolerance that matters for your assembly, (3) whether you need square-cut or finished edges. Getting these three right in the enquiry is what prevents a re-cut.

PVDF Sheet Cut to Size FAQ

Can I buy less than a full board?

Yes. We cut from board stock, so you can order individual pieces to your dimensions. MOQ is from 100 kg per specification; for cut pieces the practical minimum is one board's worth of material (confirm your actual policy here).

Is your PVDF virgin or recycled?

100% virgin Solef® PVDF resin, with no regrind and no filler. The resin certificate of analysis and the batch link are available on request. We do not supply recycled or blended PVDF sheet.

What cut tolerance can you hold?

Guillotine ± 1.0 mm, panel saw ± 0.5 mm, CNC or waterjet ± 0.2 mm - typical values. Tell us the tolerance your assembly needs and we will confirm before quoting.

Which Solef® grade do you supply?

We state the exact grade on your packing list and documents. Tell us your application and we will recommend the right family - homopolymer for stiffness and chemical resistance, copolymer where flexibility is needed, high-purity grade for semiconductor and pharmaceutical use.

Can you machine to my drawing?

Yes. Send PDF, DXF, STP, STEP or X-T files, or a dimensioned sketch. Drawings are handled confidentially. For complex parts we will cut a blank or machine the finished part - tell us which you want.

How do you stop the sheet bowing in transit?

Sheet is packed flat, restrained and supported across its full area. Cut pieces are bundled by size. Tell us if you need specific stacking or handling for an automatic line.

Is the sheet stress-relieved?

Board stock is annealed so it machines and stays flat. If you are re-cutting and need a specific stress-relief condition, tell us before ordering.

What thickness range is available?

2 – 20 mm from sheet stock, and up to 100 mm if the piece is cut from board stock.
