What the High-Cure Silicone Means in Practice
Silicone cure level determines how much unreacted silicone remains on the coating surface after processing. Under-cured silicone migrates - it transfers from the liner to the adhesive during storage, reducing the adhesive's tack. This is called back-side transfer or silicone migration.
Our single-layer film uses a high-cure silicone formulation. The crosslinking reaction is driven closer to completion during production, leaving minimal free silicone available for transfer. For the end user, this means the adhesive tape or label you apply after peeling the liner performs closer to its original specification - higher tack, better bond strength, less performance drift over time.
Residual adhesion rates above 85% are standard for this grade.
