PET Silicone Release Film 30 Micron
Feature: High transparent clear film with low to medium adhesive strength; can be easily applied and removed, leaving no residue glue after removal. With smooth surface, no defects, cutting edge tidy, not damaged.

Why 30 Microns
Thirty microns is thin enough to disappear into the final product but strong enough to survive converting. At this gauge, PET release film adds negligible thickness to label stock and adhesive tape constructions - important when total caliper is constrained by application equipment or end-use clearance. Yet the biaxially-oriented PET substrate retains enough tensile strength to run through slitting, die-cutting, and automated placement without stretching, curling, or tearing.
This film carries a single-sided silicone coating tuned for low-to-medium release force. The surface is clear, smooth, and defect-free - no rainbow patterns, no coating voids, no edge burrs after slitting. Clean peel. No silicone transfer to the adhesive. No ghosting on the adhesive surface after liner removal.

Storage and Shelf Life
Wrap the film in plastic - even partial rolls staged on the machine. Store in a cool environment below 45°C, away from direct sunlight, UV exposure, temperature extremes, humidity, and airborne dust. Under these conditions, use within 6 months from the date of manufacture for optimal release performance.
These are not suggestions. Silicone-coated PET left exposed to heat and UV will drift in release force over time. A roll stored uncovered next to a sunny window in a warehouse in August will not perform the same as a roll kept sealed and cool. We ship in protective packaging - maintain it.
